AALO, Aug 5:
A candlelight march seeking justice for late Migrik Lomi was here today. Led by the Paktu Ao Youth Welfare Association, a conglomeration of associations and clan based organisations including women’s group thronged the streets of Aalo today in protest against the gruesome murder of Migrik Lomi Karga at her rented house at Lekhi village in the state capital Itanagar on July 30 last.
The people of Aalo congregating in thousands vehemently condemned the cold blooded murder and demanded immediate arrest of the culprit within a week and insisted on engaging the Investigation Officer solely to crack the case without assigning him of other nature of cases which may cause inordinate delay in quick breakthrough.
The association also demanded handing over of case to SIT/CBI and immediate declaration of Victim Compensation under Arunachal Pradesh Victims Compensation Act 2011.
The association also expressed their vociferous ire on such murder in the state capital.
