ITANAGAR, Mar 17: Office premises of the Controller Legal Metrology at C-Sector, Naharlagun is witnessing a rush with contenders for the proposed 2^nd edition of Itanagar Mini Marathon race being organized for consumer awareness by the Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer affairs on March 19 next.

‘This time people’s response is very high with registration of about 300 participants in last two days. Till last minute, we expect to register more than 600. Registration will continue in office evenon Saturday but up to 3 pm,’ said Hoktum Ori Controller Legal Metrology & CA.

Considering interest of the people, number of prizes has been enhanced to eight each for both Men and Women category. In total there will be 16 prizes including consolation prize. For smooth and fair conduct of the marathon, we have appointed more than thirty volunteers comprising college students who will assist officers and officials of the Department, he disclosed.
