BALIJAN, Sep 4: In a fire incident, the house of one Techi Hichi of Diphu village, near Balijan Papumpare district was reduced to ashes on Saturday night.
“No casualties occurred but properties worth lakhs was lost in the inferno. We have lost everything in the incident; nothing could be saved," said Hichi while informing that there was no one present during the incident.
Further, he appealed to the Deputy Commissioner Papumpare and Chief Minister for some relief.
The actual reason behind the fire couldn’t be ascertained but it could be due to an electric short circuit, informed the victim.
