ITANAGAR, Sep 22:Arunachal Hindi Sansthan celebrated the closing ceremony of Hindi Pakhwada on Thursday here at Siddhartha Hall.

RD & Panchayati Raj Minister, Alo Libang attended the program as the Chief Guest on behalf of Chief Minister Pema Khandu.

Dr. Vrisabh Jain – Bharatiya Bhasha Manch, New Delhi was the Guest of Honour of the Program. He emphasized on the active role played by NGOs in the preservation of Folk songs, Folklores, dialects etc. He also said NGOs can play better roles in society by imparting knowledge and skills to the youth.

Hindi has become very common as every villager, even the uneducated speaks Hindi, said CM’s Advisor Tai Tagak.

AHS will organise Varnamala Shuddhikaran Abhiyan in all the districts in the next 6 months, informed Chairman Takam Sonia.

A documentary on use of Hindi and its importance, developed by AHS was screened and prize were distributed to the winners of various literary competitions.

Large number of students from various Capital Complex Schools, Hindi Teachers and RGU faculty attended the function.
