NAHARLAGUN, Jun 15:Hello FC and Senior FC emerged as the champions of the Capital Complex Dree Football Tournament-2018 in the Open and Senior Category respectively.

In the first final in the (Open) category, Hello FC defeated Sports Generation FC by a solitary goal played here today at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium. Both the teams started on offensive note and pressed hard to take lead but remained goalless till the first half. Punyo Talin of Hello FC proved to be the match winner as he scored the all important goal in the dying minutes of the match.  Punyo Nobin was declared man of the match.

In the senior category, Senior FC overcame tough challenge from the defending champion Bummer Sporting Association to emerge as the champions of the tournament. In an entertaining final both the teams showcased some exciting football since the first whistle blew. Hage Tapu , Misso Lailyang and Tanyang Tada scored a goal each for the champions. Bummer Sporting Association tried their best to match their opponents through Koj Tatung, who pulled two goals back however it did not change the course of the game.  

An exhibition match was played between Capital Complex Dree Festival Celebration Committee (CCDFCC) and Dree Ground Management Committee (DGMC) which was won by later with the score 2-0. Byabang Tugu of DGMC was declared man of the match.

Later the members of Capital Complex Dree Festival Celebration Committee distributed the prizes to the players and the teams.

Hage Takang (Hello FC), Legang Bungu and Habung Rabin of Sports Generation FC bagged the Best Goalkeeper, Highest Scorer and Best Player of the tournament respectively. Nyime Yaru FC was adjudged as the Best Disciplined team.

In the senior category Koj Tatung of Bummer Sporting Association became the Highest Scorer with 7 goals to his name. Michi Hana and Hibu Novin bagged the prizes of Best Goalkeeper and Best Player respectively.
