KHONSA, Apr 21:In continuation with humanitarian act as their motto of being “Friends of the hill people” Khonsa Battalion of Assam Rifles with the help of civil administration organized a free medical camp for the people of Khasa village, Longding district, situated along with the Indo-Myanmar border.
A total of 105 villagers benefited from the camp. Alongside free check-up, an interactive session was also organized with the masses, wherein people were educated about HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, malaria, water-borne diseases, hygiene, and sanitation.
