In addition to this, NHPC authorities also distributed medical aids/supplies, wheelchairs etc for differently abled and less privileged people of the district.

Among the eminent attendees were Deputy Commissioner, Kemo Lollen, Superintendent of Police, Tage Habung, along with District Medical Officer, Dr.Tage Kasno.

Ronel Kumar, Executive Director, NHPC, Itanagar stated that as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), it's a humble effort from their end to inform, educate and communicate with rural masses whilst creating health awareness.

While exhorting on various health benefits and issues DC Lollen also appealed to the people of the district not to oppose power projects but to cooperate with power generating authorities like NHPC reasoning that no development can be seen in a society without power/electricity. And such projects also create job opportunities for the unemployed, he added. Assuring all the support from the District Administration he requested NHPC to keep up the goodwill work and continue with such events.
