ITANAGAR, May 19: With a vision to inculcate and encourage reading habits amongst school students, the Galo Welfare Society (GWS) donated library books to eight government schools of Lower Siang and Leparada districts in its fourth phase of book distribution under its Library Movement initiative.
The GWSLM Member Secretary Er. Binga Gara led the distribution drive at GHSS, Gensi (82 Nos); GSS Dipa (79 Nos), Liru (82 Nos) and Lipu (82 Nos) under Lower Siang district on May 13 last.
The GWS Leparada District unit also distributed the library books to GHSS, Basar (121 Nos), GSS, Bam (77 Nos) & Old Bazaar Basar (79).
A total of 2940 library books have been donated to 36 libraries till the fourth phase of book distribution.
