ZIRO, Apr 1: Gabriel D. Wangsu, the guardian minister for Lower Subansiri on Tuesday urged the administration to embrace a problem-solving mindset and drive progress through innovative solutions.
Agriculture and Allied Minister Wangsu, who is also the guardian minister of East Kameng, Pakke Kesang and Lower Subansiri District conducted a comprehensive review meeting with all the heads of district departments in Lower Subansiri today to evaluate the overall activities in the district.
During the high-level meeting, District Commissioner Vivek H.P. (IAS) presented a detailed assessment of various state and central government schemes being implemented in the district. The presentation was organized around the key thematic areas of Sashakt Arunachal, which include Sundar, Samridh, Shikshit, Swasth, Surakshit and Swachch Arunachal.
Wangsu received comprehensive updates on the implementation status of flagship schemes throughout the district. He sought cooperation of all departments and emphasised the importance to monitoring progress at the grassroots level and ensuring that government programs are reaching their intended beneficiaries in Lower Subansiri district.
The review, which is part of the government's ongoing efforts to ensure effective execution of development initiatives and to identify areas requiring additional support, was attended by Local MLA Hage Appa, Commissioner, Mimung Tayeng, DC, Lower Subansiri, ADC, Ziro, ZPC and all the HoDs of the district.
Earlier in the day, Minister Wangsu also visited the District Dairy Farm and District Piggery Breeding Farm at Siro, Lower Subansiri to assess the farm's activities and the overall condition of the department's premises.
This was Wangsu’s maiden visit to the district as the guardian minister who assured of his visit for follow-up meetings in days to come.
