ITANAGAR, Jun 16: The Galo People's Federation (GPF) has pledged to work for unity, integrity, peace, communal harmony, progress, and development of the community and state as a whole.
The GPF on its 10th foundation day celebration here at DK Convention center carried out day-long programme which included deliberations and felicitation of various eminent personalities for their contribution to society and the state.
Speaking on the occasion, President GPF Doya Boje briefed the aim and objective of the celebration and also elaborated on several important works being carried out by the organization and also pledged to work for all-around development of the community and society.
Boje addressing the function thanked each and everyone who stood behind the organization in the last ten years while carrying out welfare measures and developmental works.
Several senior members of Galo community including executive body members addressed the function.
Eminent personalities who were felicitated during the event are Mige Kamki, Marngu Kadu (Patrons), Bamar Yinyo (Former Vice Chairman & Advisory Board) Goge Sora (Chairman, Advisory board) Minlar Raksap, Marpak Kadu member, D.Boje (Advocate). Executive, Marjum Karlo Vice President, Kengo Ori ,Chief Auditor, Gohen Doke, Vice President, East Zone, Marli Ingo, Publicity secretary, Jarpum Gamlin –Editor, Eastern Sentinel and others.
