ITANAGAR, Aug 23:Welcoming the decision of government to create a separate Department of Indigenous Faith and Cultural Affairs, the All Abotani Clan Students Union on Wednesday has suggested the government to introduce Tani Lipi script in the academic system as a common language subject. The union opined that the adaptation of script in schools and colleges would help to promote importance of tribal languages that are on the verge of extinction.
