ITANAGAR, Dec 14: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig. (Dr.) B. D. Mishra (Retd.) and Speaker P. D Sona have condoled the demise of Smt Dorjee Dema Thongdok, wife of Er. Tenzing Norbu Thongdok, Former Speaker, Arunachal Pradesh State Legislative Assembly.
In his condolence letter, the Governor conveyed sincere and heartfelt condolences to Er. Thongdok and members of the bereaved family.
I join the people of Arunachal Pradesh in praying to Almighty God to give eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss, the Governor said in his letter.
State Assembly Speaker Pasang D Sona has deeply mourned the demise of Dorjee Dema Thongdok, who expired today. In his condolence message, the Speaker said that late Dorjee Dema Thongdok was a kind hearted and compassionate woman and was loved by all. Her demise is a great loss to society, the message added.
While conveying his sincere and heartfelt condolences to Tenzing Norbu Thongdok, the Speaker prayed to the Almighty God for eternal peace of her departed soul and also to give enough strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Late Dorjee Dema Thongdok had retired from the Craft centre Bomdila as handicraft instructor.
