ITANAGAR, Mar 23: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General KT Parnaik, reviewed the developmental schemes and projects in the state including central and state governments flagship programmes at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar today.
He emphasized that the benefit of each and every welfare scheme must reach the last person in society while laying stress that projects and programmes must be implemented within the timeframe.
The Governor advised the officers to reach out to the people and monitor the progress and work quality of the projects. He also underscored the health and education sectors required for overall development of society.
Appreciating the innovative programme of the State Government, i.e. ‘Seva Aapke Dwar’, where all the government services are made available at the village level, Parnaik also commended the district officers and staff for going to the remote villages and conducting the programme.
Earlier, State Chief Secretary Dharmendra, along with Principal Secretaries, Commissioners and Secretaries briefed the Governor about the programmes, projects and policies implemented in Arunachal Pradesh. (HS)
