ITANAGAR, Aug 6:Governor PB Acharya has extended warm greetings to the people of the State on the joyous occasion of Raksha Bandhan and expressed hope that the festivity will further reinforce the warm bonding amongst siblings and will continue to spread universal love and peace in the world.

In his message, the Governor said that Raksha Bandhan, which symbolizes love, affection and mutual trust between brothers and sisters usher emotional integration, brotherhood and mutual understanding amongst the citizens. It fortifies bonds among all communities and groups and helps us in our collective endeavour to work for the well-being of one and all, he further said.
