Itanagar, Feb 11: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd.), who is on a 4-day visit to Uttar Pradesh, accompanied by the First Lady of the State, Anagha Parnaik, visited the revered Someshwar Mahadev Temple, a historic and spiritually significant shrine in Prayagraj dedicated to Lord Shiva on Tuesday. The Governor performed Rudrabhishek, an elaborate Vedic ritual, seeking divine blessings for universal peace, prosperity, and well-being of all.
Immersed in the spiritual grandeur of the occasion, the Governor and the First Lady of the State participated in the auspicious rituals and the holy Sangam Snan at the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on February 10. The Governor’s participation in these sacred traditions highlighted his deep reverence for India’s spiritual legacy and his unwavering commitment to fostering cultural and religious harmony.
Following the temple visit, the Governor and the First Lady embarked on the Mahakumbh Kshetra Darshan, a sacred pilgrimage that led them to the Sangam, the confluence of the three holiest rivers in Hinduism, Ganga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati.
