ITANAGAR, Aug 16: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General KT Parnaik, (Retd.) and First Lady of the State Smt Anagha Parnaik hosted the traditional ‘At Home’ function on the occasion of 77th Independence Day at the General Bipin Rawat Hall, Raj Bhavan, Itanagar on Tuesday.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Members of Parliament Nabam Rebia, heads of constitutional bodies, senior bureaucrats, senior citizens, ex-servicemen, sport personalities, achievers, eco warriors, Covid Warriors, heads of renowned NGOs were present on the occasion. The Governor and the First Lady of the State interacted with the distinguished guests and invitees and exchanged warm greetings on the special occasion.
The highlights of the function were folk dance presentations by Wancho, Nyishi and Adi cultural troupes and patriotic song by senior artists of the Department of Art and Culture.
The guests and participants were hosted to a High Tea on the occasion.
