ITANAGAR, Jan 27: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd), and the First Lady of the State, Anagha Parnaik, hosted the traditional ‘At Home’ reception to commemorate the 76th Republic Day of India at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar.
The event witnessed the presence of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and his Council of Ministers, members of the State Legislative Assembly, senior officials, bureaucrats, ex-servicemen, Veer Naris, sports personalities, achievers, students, differently-abled children, and other special invitees.
The Governor and the First Lady engaged warmly with the attendees, exchanging greetings and good wishes on the momentous occasion over a delightful High Tea.
A key highlight of the event was a captivating Band Display by the students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Nirjuli led by Jumni Nyori of Class IX. The students impressed the audience with their synchronization, talent, and enthusiasm, leaving everyone in awe.
The ‘At Home’ reception was a heartfelt celebration of unity, patriotism, and inclusivity, marking yet another memorable milestone in the Republic Day celebrations.
Raj Bhavan was adorned in a vibrant festive decor, featuring blooming flowers in extensive flower beds and pots. The display of the national tri-color added to the patriotic spirit, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance for the distinguished gathering.
