Itanagar, Feb 15: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General K.T. Parnaik (Retd.) has extended heartfelt greetings to the people of the State, especially the Wancho brethren on the joyous occasion of the Oriah Festival. He expressed hope that the festival will continue to celebrate and rejuvenate the vibrant legacy of their ancestors.

In this spirit, the Oriah Festival holds deep significance as a sacred celebration seeking the blessings of the Almighty for the well-being of all. It plays a pivotal role in preserving the customs, values, and traditions of the Wancho Tribe, reinforcing their identity and heritage, he said.
