Itanagar, Feb 27: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General K.T. Parnaik (Retd.) has extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Arunachal Pradesh, especially the Buddhist community who celebrate this festival with great joy and devotion on the festive occasion of Losar. He prayed that the year of the ‘Wood Snake’ would bring a period of transformation, wisdom, and renewal for all.
The Governor said that Losar marks the beginning of a New Year, symbolizing renewal, prosperity, and hope. It is a time to honour our rich traditions, strengthen our bonds of unity, and look forward to a future filled with peace and progress. As families come together to celebrate with prayers, traditional rituals, and festivities, let us also reflect on the values of harmony, compassion, and resilience that define our beautiful state, he said.
The Governor said that Arunachal Pradesh is a land of diverse cultures and traditions, where different communities live together in peace and brotherhood. On the special occasion, he urged upon the people to reaffirm their commitment to unity and progress, embracing the New Year with renewed determination and positivity.
