ITANAGAR, Apr 14: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General K.T. Parnaik (Retd.) has greeted the people on the sacred occasion of Longte. He prayed that the warmth and splendour, which are part of the occasion, usher in happiness and prosperity in the years to come.
He also conveyed warm greetings particularly to the Assamese community living in Arunachal Pradesh on the festive occasion of Bohag Bihu, which is observed to celebrate the onset of Assamese New Year. He also conveyed greetings to the people of Assam on behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh on the joyous occasion.
May this year’s Bohag Bihu, bring fraternal love, goodwill and affection amongst the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and inspire us to strive for the unity, integrity and solidarity of the nation and also bring progress and well being for all, the Governor said in his message.
