ITANAGAR, Feb 24: Governor PB Acharya has extended greetings to the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri. In his message, the Governor said the festival marks the remembrance of ‘overcoming darkness and ignorance’ in life and in the world.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu while greeting on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, prayed Lord Shiva to bless all sentient beings with happiness, love and prosperity.
