ITANAGAR, Aug 29: Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) has urged the Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research, to expedite their activities for harnessing the rich mineral potential of Arunachal Pradesh.
The governor said this when Uday Prakash Sharma, Scientist-H, Project Head of Arunachal Pradesh, Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research, Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India, Shillong called on him at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar today.
The Governor also commended the project team for their ongoing exploration and research work.
Earlier, the Project Head briefed the Governor about the mineral resources of Arunachal Pradesh.
