New Delhi, July 25: Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) attended the swearing-in ceremony of the 15th President of India Droupadi Murmu in the Central Hall of Parliament in New Delhi today. Chief Justice of India, Justice N.V. Ramana administered the oath of office to the President.
Outgoing President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Cabinet Ministers, members of Parliament, senior politicians from various parties, Governors and Chief Ministers of States and officers from the Indian Armed Forces were present among others.
On behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh, the Governor conveyed the good wishes to the new President.
