ITANAGAR, Aug 8: On the eve of the 75th Independence Day, a patriotic song competition and patriotic dance competition amongst the students of the government schools of Naharlagun was conducted by the Department of Art & Culture on August 7-8 at the Multi-Purpose Cultural Complex Naharlagun. More than 100 students and their teachers participated to make the event memorable and a thumping success. 
Patriotic song by Baishali Chakraborty of K.V. No. 1, Bonu Sorum of Govt. Secondary School G Sector and Kali Lendo of Govt. Hr. Secondary School Naharlagun were adjudged as 1st, 2nd & 3rd respectively.
In the patriotic group dance, Govt. Secondary School Pachin, Govt. Secondary School G' sector and Govt. Hr. Sec. School Naharlagun were adjudged as the 1st 2nd & 3rd respectively.
