ITANAGAR, Dec 18: Chief Minister Pema Khandu has extended warm greetings to the people of Arunachal Pradesh for the success of the Good Governance Week being observed from December 19-25 next. This day also commemorates the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Key governance reforms were taken up in mission mode during the year to bring in both effectiveness and efficiency. These include 22 projects in the e-governance sector which will facilitate ease of living for the people.
Many programmes are being organized at the State and District level during this week. The Deputy Commissioners have also planned special campaigns for service delivery / Seva Aapke Dwar Camps.
Deputy Commissioners will attend a virtual conference on “District as the Fulcrum of Development” to be held on December 20.
A special focus area of the government during this week will be disposal of public grievances. A state portal for public grievance redressal is expected to be launched soon. Much trainings have been planned in the Secretariat. These include training on latest version of e-office and other crucial topics.
Arunachal Pradesh has been given a special recognition at the inaugural national level function in Delhi on 19th December, with the Chief Secretary Arunachal Pradesh having been invited to address the delegates. This will help highlight the significant strides made by the State in recent years.
