PASIGHAT, Apr 5: Election General Observer Dilip Routray on Thursday this evening expressed hope that the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections scheduled to be held on April 19 next would be transparent and peaceful manner in East Siang district. Appreciating the hard work DEO Tayi Taggu, Routray stated that preparations for its completion were continuing on a war footing for all three assembly constituencies and East Arunachal Parliamentary constituency in the district was appreciable, said the GO adding that “I am very happy to see the management including sincerity, dedication and tireless efforts of the government officials and the leadership of the DEO Taggu”. 
GO informed that he has been traveling and visiting all polling booths of all three constituencies—37-Pasighat West, 38-Pasighat East and 39-Mebo Assembly Constituencies and arrangements were made according to ECI guidelines and very satisfactory. He also informed that he was closely monitoring all developments and concerned election officers were updating him on regular basis. Sharing his contact number, Routray assured that for any election related issue would be taken very seriously and he would always be available to attend call of common public and political parties grievances to address promptly. 
DEO Tai Taggu while throwing light on polling preparation stated that the district was all set to conduct the elections and was waiting for polling day. All the officials of government departments and police and other defense forces deployed for elections were also performing their assigned jobs and responsibilities with full dedication. If things continue like this, the upcoming elections would be conducted completely peacefully and in transparent manner in the district.
