MECHUKHA, Sep 8: Shi-Yomi district Deputy Commissioner Mito Dirchi on Wednesday unveiled the Bust of Mahatma Gandhi at the Thrimkang/Kebang Hall Mechukha in presence of ADC Mechukha Biaro Sorum and ZPM Mechukha Maling Koje. The simple yet impressive unveiling programme was also attended by the HoDs, GBs and students.

The bust, which was donated by the ADC Mechukha, was installed as a tribute to the Father of the Nation.  

Speaking on the occasion, the DC suggested the public to always respect Gandhi ji and follow his teachings. He also suggested maintaining cleanliness of surrounding areas as Gandhi ji taught.
