ITANAGAR, Jan 10: The Galo Welfare Society (GWS) observed it's 23rd foundation day cum annual felicitation program 2022 today at DK Convention Hall, ltanagar. 
The event witnessed the participation of   achievers in various fields including elders of the community among others. All the achievers were felicitated with certificates, mementos and cash prizes as token of appreciation for their respective achievements.
 The daylong event started with GWS flag hoisting at Galo Heritage Centre cum Mopin Ground by the GWS president Marnya Ete, in presence of CEC members.
The main attraction of the day included career counselling sessions for the achievers and youths which were taken up by the invited resource persons namely Prof Tomo Riba and Dr Toni Ete besides cultural display. 
The President GWS in his speech appealed to the Galo Gumin members to think and act for the greater cause of the community leaving behind petty differences which are detrimental for the greater cause of society.
