ITANAGAR, May 14: The Galo Welfare Society (GWS) organised a blood donation programme at the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) on Saturday. The voluntary blood donation camp was also organised by the GWS  at RKM Hospital Itanagar and across the state commemorating the 4th death anniversary of Dr Loyi, former President GWS.
The programme themed "Dr. Minge Loyi, Former GWS President Pan- Arunachal Voluntary Blood Donation Day" was held in honour of the late physician in all the respective district and general hospitals of the state. GWS has declared 11th May of every year as the "Dr Minge Loyi Pan-Arunachal Blood Donation Day."
