ITANAGAR, Sep 1:The Galo Students Union (GSU), Galo youth organisation (GYO) and the Galo peoples’ front GPF) in a joint meeting today has decided to temporarily suspend the "Tala Bandi Andolan” which it has been staging since August 11 last demanding immediate functioning of Lower Siang District.

The decision was taken after fervent appeals were made by the Galo Welfare Society, the apex body of the Galo community and Er. Tumke Bagra, Deputy Speaker of legislative assembly. However, the trio organizations have warned that no further excuses and appeals shall be entertained after September 22 next.
