NAHARLAGUN, Aug 4:Arunachal Pradesh Horticultural Produce Marketing & Processing Board (APHPM&PB) today released first phase of fund amounting to Rupees 2,24,25,000 under the Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) scheme under which 9 units of Rural Primary Market (RPM) and 13 units of Retail Market (RM) are being established. The scheme is targeted to establish marketing infrastructure in the selected districts of the state to provide infrastructural facilities for Horticultural farmers to sell their produces.
Chairman of Arunachal Pradesh Horticultural Produce Marketing & Processing Board (APHPM&PB) Kipa Niya, while releasing the fund to District Horticulture Officers of various districts advised them to implement the scheme strictly as per the guideline and also urged them to release the subsidy amount as per the terms and conditions mentioned in the deed of agreement signed between APHPM&PB and the beneficiaries.
General Manager and officers of APHPM&PB and DHOs along with representatives from various districts were present during the occasion.
