Pasighat, Dec 8: The Film & Television Guild of Arunachal (FTGA) today felicitated the winners of Miss Trans North East at Donyi Hanggo Resort Pasighat, East Siang District.
Winners and subtitle holders namely Miss Kwai Lucey Haam (winner Miss Trans North East), Miss Dione Nonang(Miss Beautiful Skin), and Miss Nancy Taki (who got the Runaway contract from a delhi based company) were felicitated.
Miss Trans North East event was organised at Vivanta Taj Hotel  Gauhati on November 30, wherein several participants from all over North East participated. The winner Kwai Lucey Haam hails from Kamle District and Dione Nonang and Nancy Taki belongs to East Siang District.
While attending the event as chief guest, East Siang District Treasury Officer Dr. Tigul Megu Darang lauded the winners of Miss Trans North East and stressed upon promoting the trans community and supporting them in every aspect.
Speaking on the occasion former AAPSU General Secy. Tobom Dai, who attended the programme as Guest of Honour distributed mementos and certificates to the winners and subtitle holders. He appreciated the title holders for their relentless efforts in bringing laurels to the state and also called upon all sections of society to support the trans community and their cause.
The chairman of Film & Television Guild of Arunachal, Mingkeng Osik congratulated the winners and appealed all sections of society to uplift and provide platform to the trans community and encourage their talents.
Festival Director of FTGA Onom Saring, Former AAPSU leader Kukut Talom, entrepreneur Remo Pertin, renowned photographer Kadum Tarang, senior leaders and other CBOs attended the event.
