LONGDING, Mar 1: Longding police arrested four people under NDPS Act and seized two packets of suspected brown sugar weighing 23.43gms along with a vehicle.
The arrested accused are  Lempo Ponglaham (45)  of Russa, Kanubari, Awin Nokboham (34) of  Luaksim (Kanubari),Chingnyai Alias Atoh Jokkam (24) from  Bonia village and Posen Kongkang (37) from Lazu in Tirap.
In a press statement, Longding Police  informed that, on February 26 last, a joint written FIR was received  stating that a group of women had conducted checking at zero point tinali Pongchau village. During the search of one vehicle (Maruti S-Persso) bearing regn No. AR-18-3113, occupied by five people, two packets of suspected brown sugar was recovered from their possession.
