Itanagar, Jan 20: The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW), Itanagar attended a one-day skilled development training on Soap Making organized by H.O.P.E. Foundation, Deomali at its premises on Sunday.
The resource person was Rima Devi from Marigaon, Assam.
Attending the valedictory function on Monday, Chairperson APSCW, Kenjum Pakam encouraged the participants to take advantage of such training and use it instead of staying idle. One can learn and teach other family members to start from a small business, she said.
Badonlum Tawsik, ADC Deomali suggested the participants not to lose hope while trying something new, as business takes time. While appreciating the APSCW and H.O.P.E. Foundation for organising such programme, he encouraged the participants to participate in such skilled development programmes in the future.
Komna Moidam, Member APSCW –cum- Chairperson, H.O.P.E. Foundation briefed the training programme followed by volunteers highlighting the activities done by the Foundation. The training benefitted 50 participants.
