ITANAGAR, Oct 31: Former Under Secretary of the Arunachal Pradesh Services Selection Board (APSSB), Kapter Ringu, who was placed under suspension was today dismissed from government service.
Ringu, was first placed under suspension from 20 February, 2020, following her arrest for alleged malpractice and corruption in the examinations conducted by the APSSB for the posts of UDC, LDC, JSA and others.
The Department of Personnel chargesheeted the official on October 7, 2020, for initiating disciplinary proceeding for her misconducts while functioning as Under Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh Services Selection Board (APSSB), Itanagar. 
The DoP said it found "grave misconduct as to warrant the imposition of a major penalty" and Ringu was given opportunity of personal hearing and to give written explanation which was examined with reference to the facts of the case and found not consistent with the facts.
Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 15 read with Rule 11 (ix) of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh hereby imposes the penalty of dismissal on Smti. Kapter Ringu, APCS (Senior Grade) which shall ordinarily be a disqualification for future employment under the Government, the order signed by the chief secretary read.
