TEZU, Jun 25: The Lohit District Administration with the support of talented and energetic young volunteers organized Flash Mob and Nukkad Natak on Saturday ahead of the upcoming International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. These events aimed to raise awareness about the perils of drug abuse and illicit trafficking, encouraging communities to unite against this global menace.
The Flash Mob and Nukkad Natak event took place at Gandhi Chowk, Tezu and featured the participation of talented performers, dedicated volunteers, and enthusiastic audience. The Flash Mob choreography was carefully designed to showcase the negative consequences of drug abuse and the path towards recovery, inspiring hope and spreading awareness.
The Nukkad Natak took center stage, delivering a powerful and thought-provoking message. The talented volunteers skilfully portrayed the devastating effects of drug abuse on individuals, families, and communities, while highlighting the urgent need for prevention, rehabilitation, and support. The performance successfully engaged the audience and stimulated meaningful discussions about the importance of a drug-free society.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the audience, with hundreds of community members, youth groups, and concerned citizens actively participating and pledging their support against drug abuse.
Police and Narcotics Officials also participated actively in the event.
