NAMSAI, Jul 31:     Sudden flash flood was reported from NanamKhamiyang village in Namsai District on July 30 last believed to have been caused due to opening of water logging somewhere in Manabhum Hill. As a result, the village experienced waters up to two feet which gradually subsided in about three hours time. The district administration pressed into action and the ADC alongwith JE of WRD visited the village to take stock of the situation. Few paddy fields were destroyed however no loss of life or property has been reported.
