PASIGHAT, Aug 19:

 

The East Siang administration has suspended firing practice at Ranaghat Firing Range temporarily from August 19-September 7 next in view of the ensuing Solung festival of the Adi community. The decision comes, as locals are involved in search of Mithun (Bos-Frontalis) and other animals for the Solung celebrations across the firing range areas and its vicinities.
