ITANAGAR, Nov 13: A group of aggrieved aspirants for the Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) examination  filed an FIR before the Special Investigation Cell (SIC) demanding probe into the examinations held in 2017 and 2021 conducted by  the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) under the Controller of Examination Taket Jerang, who is now under arrest in the AE(Civil) examination paper leak case.
Addressing the media at the press club here today, one of the aspirants, Sanjay Yangda while suspecting malpractice and paper leakage in the recently conducted ADO examination by the Commission said that the exam should be scrapped. He added that the line of trust has been breached following the arrest of officials in the APPSC (AE- Civil) exam paper leakage issue, who were also the same ones who conducted the ADO exam.        
More than 10 candidates qualified for the post of ADO who were from the JEJU Institute. And the public as well as the Commission is well aware that the AE paper was leaked from the same institute, he said.
“We strongly believe that there was question paper leakage in the recent ADO examination too. Not surprisingly, the same examination was conducted under Deputy Controller of Examination Taket Jerang, who is the prime accused in the AE (Civil) paper leakage fiasco,” he said, adding that the Chairman of the Commission was also Nipo Nabam.     
The aspirants are also demanding a thorough investigation of the entire ADO examinations conducted by the APPSC under the chairmanship of Nipo Nabam since 2017.
Yangda also claimed that despite the shaping of recruitment rules (RR) 2019 for the ADO exam, the Commission never enacted it.  However, on September 19, 2021, there were sudden changes in the recruitment test subject.

“According to the recruitment guidelines, the recruitment test had to be conducted on General Knowledge, but it was shifted to technical paper in a very short period of 53 days before the exam. This sudden shift is raising doubts within the aspirants that illegal process was exercised by the officials to give the opportunity to their candidates,” he added.    
Yangda also informed that the aspirants have lodged an FIR against the ADO examination held from 2017 to 2021 conducted by APPSC at the Special Investigation Cell (SIC), Itanagar, demanding a thorough investigation.
