ITANAGAR, Jun 22:  The finals of the 1st Pasang Wangchuk Sona State Level Memorial Hockey Championship will take place on Friday at the Sangay Lhaden Sports Complex in Itanagar. 
Kra Daadi will compete against Papum Pare in the men's category, and Kurung Kumey will face Kra Daadi in the women's category. 
The championship, organized by Hockey Arunachal, is a tribute to late Pasang Wangchuk Sona, a former Minister. 
The opening ceremony, held on June 19th, was honored by the presence of the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lt General K.T. Parnaik (Retd), as the chief guest, and Minister of Sports & Youth Affairs, Mama Natung, as the guest of honor.
Altogether eleven teams from across the state have enthusiastically participated in the tournament, showcasing their exceptional skills and passion for the game.
The closing ceremony will be attended by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and Chairman of the APB&OCWWB, Nyato Dukam as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
