NYAPIN, Aug 14: Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Bamang Felix has directed the Panchayati Raj representatives of 19th Nyapin (ST) Assembly Constituency to ensure benefits under various PM and CM flagship programmes reaches every eligible beneficiary by December 31.
Felix, who is the local MLA, gave the direction while conducting a week-long Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan 2022 in the constituency, which culminated here on Saturday.
“Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan 2022 is just the beginning towards ensuring every eligible beneficiary get benefits of various PM and CM flagship programmes by December 31," Felix said.
In this regard, he informed that proper training will be provided to the panchayat leaders, which will be followed by a mega Sarkar Aapke Dwar camp in the month of September wherein all eligible beneficiaries can get registered under various PM and CM flagship programmes.
Cautioning the Panchayat leaders against discriminating eligible beneficiaries in terms of political party affiliation, Felix said that such discrimination will not be tolerated. He also cautioned ASHA and Anganwadi workers and helpers against dereliction of their duties, and stated that action will be initiated against those who remains absent from their respective jurisdictions.
During the week-long Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyan 2022, the Minister along with leaders and members of Zilla Parishad, Gram Panchayat and Booth Level Committee of 19th Nyapin (ST) Assembly Constituency visited various villages under Nyapin, Phassang, Nyobia and Sangram circles.
While highlighting benefits provided under various PM and CM flagship programmes, the Minister emphasized on the importance of having Adhaar Card to get registered as a beneficiary, and urged all concerned to apply for the same. Besides availing individual benefits, the Minister also advised the villagers, especially womenfolk concerned, to create Self Help Groups to make themselves Atmanirbhar.
Informing that PM and CM flagship programmes ensures benefits to the underprivileged from “womb to tomb”, the Minister urged all to work together and help each other in availing these benefits.
Meanwhile, Minister Felix, who will be celebrating 75th Independence Day in Nyapin, also conducted Har Ghar Tiranga campaign at Nyobia, Sangram, Nyapin and Phassang circles.
