NYAPIN, Jan 28:  Local MLA-cum-Home Minister Bamang Felix recently undertook a whirlwind tour of 19-Nyapin Assembly Constituency to review the progress of various developmental projects.
In Nyobia Circle, Minister Felix inspected the construction of PMGSY road from Nibi to Hiba village, being executed by the Rural Works Division, Sangram. The said road is a valuable asset for the people of Kurung Kumey district as it connects the two constituencies of the district viz., 19-Nyapin and 21-Koloriang AC while also significantly reducing the travel time in-between.
Speaking with the RWD executive engineers and local contractors, the Minister directed that the road be completed within the stipulated time while also ensuring it remains blockade free at all time.
On the sideline of the visit, the Minister also visited the Satang Sinik (Lake), about 2.5km from Nibi Village. Once a natural lake, the Satang Sinik holds the tale of a legendary folklore figure Taram Gaming. Minister Felix have advised the villagers to keep the surroundings plastic free and to conserve the ecology in the area. Stating that the lake can be rejuvenated and be promoted as tourist destination, the Minister appealed to the villagers to cooperate with the administration in its conservation efforts.
In Sangram Sub-Division, the Minister inspected the construction of BRTF road to Layang under CRIF, construction of police station and barrack at Layang, and fire services building site at Pokriang.  
He also visited the construction sites of four bridges viz., Patrey, Yachi, Paya, and Pani bridge which are being executed under RIDF by PWD Sangram Division. All four bridges are completed and will be formally inaugurated shortly.
In Nyapin ADC Headquarters, the Minister inaugurated the water treatment plant for augmentation of drinking water supply to the Nyapin township under Jal Jeevan Mission covering 129 households in Police Colony, Hojuriang, Passa, and Army Colony at Nyapin. The project was implemented by the PHED&WS Sangram Division.
He also inspected the construction of New Helipad in Nyapin, 36-room capacity Circuit House with conference and dining hall, Tadar Tang Community Health Centre, Mini Secretariat, and construction of fire services building. All mentioned projects are being expediated and is expected to be completed within this year’s end.
At Phassang Circle, where the Home Minister attended at the 74th Republic Day celebrations, inaugurated the multipurpose tribal welfare building (Nyokum Namlo) at Lungsa which was executed by BDO,   Nyapin. During his visit, he also inspected the construction of circuit house, helipad, indoor badminton stadium, PMGSY roads, 2-lane road from Nyobia Circle via Sangram, Nyapin and Phassang Circles to Chayang Tajo in East Kameng district, PHED&WS Section Office and quarters, etc.
The Minister has directed the officials concerned to expedite the work while ensuring that the infrastructures remain an asset not just for the current population but also for the future generations.
Meanwhile, during his tour, the Minister also interacted with the public, panchayat leaders and government officials. During interaction with the panchayat leaders and rural masses, Minister Felix called for extending cooperation to the district administration in executing developmental projects and welfare schemes.
He also advised the panchayat leaders to utilize the funds allocated to them under the State Own Revenue to create valuable assets for the rural masses while asserting that the state government is committed to make rural-Arunachal self-reliant.
