ITANAGAR, Mar 17: Home Minister Bamang Felix today assured that advertisement against all vacancies in the Arunachal Pradesh Police Department under compassionate ground will be issued within the month of April this year.
The Home Minister made the assurance following a meeting with representatives of the aggrieved candidates seeking appointment in the Arunachal Pradesh Police Department on compassionate ground, at his official residence here. 
Felix also informed that the Draft Guidelines for compassionate appointment under the Arunachal Pradesh Police Department will also be finalized within this month.
Meanwhile, the Minister urged the aggrieved candidates to call off their ongoing peaceful sit-in protest at Indira Gandhi Park here, which the representatives has agreed in principle in view of the assurance.
