Naharlagun, Feb 16 : Minister IPR/ RWD Bamang Felix along with Minister Forest, Land Management etc, Nabam Rebia, Chief Secretary Satya Gopal, Secretary, IPR Sonam Chombay and others visited the site of the Film and TV Institute(FTI) at Jote whose foundation stone was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently.
Addresing the gathering, Bamang Felix exhorted the locals to create a conducive atmosphere so that the project is completed smoothly. I have come to bridge the relation between the locals and the project developers and hope this relation will be cordial and beneficial for both, the minister said.
Appreciating the land donors, the minister said that multiple projects like NIT, Women College, Law College,  Greenfield Airport etc. are coming up in the area which will usher in unprecedented development in the area. Narendra Modi government at centre and Pema Khandu government in the state is committed for the developments to percolate down to the grassroots, reiterated the Minister.
He assured that fund will be arranged for construction of a wider road to the institution. Mentioning that the institution is third of its kind in the country, the Minister assured the implementing agencies of full co-operation and support from government. 
Nabam Rebia, said that Jote and its adjoining areas are turning out to be higher education hub with the setting up of various important and prestigious institutions. He thanked all who were  instrumental in bringing up the project and assured to take up regarding the improvement of road to Balijan, Hollongi etc. which will usher in faster development of the area. 
Satya Gopal said that the state is on the path of inclusive growth and development. Team Arunachal's endeavour is to develop Arunachal Pradesh as one of the best state of the country.  Hoping that the upcoming institute will churn out renowned film and television personalities in future, he thanked the ministers instrumental in bringing the institution to the area.
