AALO, May 2:The training on skill development and capacity building of unemployed youth and farmers of Mechukha and Tato circle under Border Area Development Programme (BADP) 2016-17 was conducted by the department of Horticulture Mechukha Sub-Division at Mechukha on April 29 last.
Henrik Basar, SDHO Mechukha highlighted in detail on the need to conduct training programme time to time and said that cultivation of major horticulture fruit crops is only the means to develop a sustainable horticulture venture.
AK Singh HDO Mechuka imparted detail training on package of practices of Apple, Kiwi, large Cardamom and handling of garden tools etc.
A cash incentive in the form of honorarium was also given to the trainees and training on such lines is being conducted for farmers of interior Monigong and Pidi Circles.
