BHALUKPONG, Jul 26:Three persons were seriously injured and 4 others sustained minor injuries, when a Tata Sumo in which they were travelling was hit by a large boulder in between Sessa- Zero Point on the Bhalukpong-Tawang route this morning around 10.30 am.

The taxi ferrying passengers from Tezpur to Tawang on daily basis had 8 occupants including 2 women. The seriously injured have been identified as Kunjo of Seo village in Tawang, Chuki Lamu of Jimithang (Tawang) while one Non APST whose identification was not established have been sent to Tezpur for better treatment.

The four who sustained minor injuries were treated at Public Health Centre, Bhalukpong and  later released.
