NAHARLAGUN, Aug 12: Taking strong exception to reports of awarding unauthorised Inner Line Permit (ILP) at various check gates of the Capital Complex, Deputy Commissioner Itanagar, Prince Dhawan directed the Circle Officer Banderdewa to keep strict vigil and conduct an inquest against the defaulters.
Dhawan said that a complaint was received recently by IMC Councillor of Banderdewa, Tai Tasung wherein he alleged that few people are running unauthorised outlets which deals with issuance of ILP.
While speaking to the media, Councillor Tai Tassung said that few people are running unauthorised ILP vends and issue illegal ILP outside the check post that may also lead to law and order situation. He further appealed that if anyone wants to obtain ILP they need to apply through proper channel.
