TEZU, Mar 19: The new executive body of APLS Lohit District unit was formed today in presence of YD Thongchi. Thongchi also donated Fifty thousand rupees to the district unit. 
Narrating the journey of formation of the Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society, Thongchi said that it began with just 10 like-minded people and today has produced many renowned writers like Jamuna Bini, Tara S, whose works are also taught in many educational institutes. He suggested the APLS unit to meet at least once a month and conduct literary activities. 
Literary sessions were also held where poetry recitation by Dr. Padmavati Ongong, Alenso Chai, Ramesh Pandey and others were also held.
