NEW DELHI, Feb 28: After the shocking revelations in the suicide note of former Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Kalikho Pul, the demand for a Special Investigation Team probe will be the agenda of the team planning to meet India’s Vice President Hamid Ansari on Tuesday.
AAP leaders Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav, activist Harsh Mander, Dangwimsai Pul (Kalikho Pul’s wife), along with others will submit their request letter for an SIT constituted by senior-most Supreme Court judges other than the ones named in Pul’s 60-page suicide note.
In his note, the late CM alleged that top members of the legal fraternity asked him to pay bribes in crores of rupees. He also attempted to expose alleged corruption of Congress leaders. (the Quint)
