ITANAGAR, Mar 31: An eviction drive was carried out at government seed farm, Sonajuli, Banderdewa Circle today against the illegally constructed dwelling house within the premises. Eight dwelling houses were evicted in total.

The drive was carried out by Pama Bagang, Circle Officer, Banderdewa, Liken Koyu, Circle Officer (HQ) and Khiksi Yangfo, OC, Police Station Banderdewa along with Police and para military personnel as per the order of Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate, Itanagar Capital Complex, Prince Dhawan.

Earlier, the DC had issued prohibitory orders on construction works and entry of individuals inside the seed farm except for employees.
